I know, I know how slack have I been. Well actually it’s not as much slack as just really being illiterate when it comes to this blog. But I have made a new resolution to actually try and learn what I am doing! So here goes…. A lot has happened in my world lately. So I am going to start with the big USA trip and my very exciting visit to Stampin’ Up Home Office in Salt Lake City.
This is the front view of the home office, I am sure you could imagine my excitment to be driving up the driveway!!!!

The kids and I in front of the “famous” Stampin up rock sign. I must say the boys were just as excited as me to be at Stampin up. The boys couldn’t believe that the taxi driver that drove us to our hotel didn’t know about Stampin’ Up…LOL, I have them trained well don’t you think????

Yep that’s me with Shelli, how lucky was I that she was at the home office on the day that I visited. All the offices are glass offices and I did see her when Amy walked me past. Amy did say that Shelli was in a meeting and that she probably wouldn’t be able to come out so I just waved like mad and more than likely Shelli thought there was a crazy lady in the building… LOL Then out she came and of course there was a photo opportunity!!! She is such an amazing lady who patiently waited as I was having major camera problems, thanks Shelli ( Can you believe that my camera would decide to die when I was at SU home office)

This photo shows the amazing central atrium inside the building. I have seen pictures of this at convention but being there and seeing it in person was just the best!!!!!! Kerry the receptionist said that normally the waterfall only goes on at lunchtime but she had it running when I got there, how special am I?? The downstairs area is where all the staff have there lunch and the top floors are where all the offices are.

On each floor there is areas for staff to relax with beautiful furniture that truly reflects Shelli’s style.

The cupboard above was just one of many cupboards filled with fantastic projects. Many of these projects are featured in the Catalogue.

This was the amazing wharehouse where all the orders are packed. This is where my camera first started playing up so I thought I had a lot more photos but they didn’t come out. But let me tell you this area is huge. Oh to try and stuff all of that stock into my backpack. Amy even let me stop a couple of boxes to see what people had ordered.

I also got to catch up with some of the home office staff, Carrie, Donna, Shannon and Amy. Amy was the wonderful lady who organised my tour and escorted me around everywhere and put up with all my camera dramas as well. Shannon and Donna, I am sure you will recognise as they have both been to Australia for training days and Convention. How awesome to have them come down and say Hi. (and of course another photo opportunity) I took all the girls a big supply of licorice bullets( their favourite Australian treat!!)
Well guess I should finish off here, I took so many more photos but I think you get the picture, I had an absolutely fantastic time at home office. If you ever get the chance, take the opportunity and go visit!! Stampin’ Up is such and awesome company to be associated with and they made me feel totally welcome and special.
